We are the “Flowering Gals Guerrilla”, reminder of Earthquake in Japan on 3.11.2011.

March 11th, 2014 marks the third anniversary of the earthquake / tsunami that then started a chain of events that resulted in the nuclear melt down in Fukushima.
We appeared at two locations on March 11th. at new bike path of Bay Bridge and after that we popped in over the bridge of freeway 80 in Berkeley with the banner “Fukushima Lives!” Thank you, for lots of honks and waving hands for people and the animals in Fukushima! , to express our solidarity with those affected by the events in the Tohoku area. By carrying this banner, we sent you our love from San Francisco – you are in our hearts.

やりましたー!  震災から３年目の3.11.2014 は花のゲリラ隊が２か所に出没しました。まずはお花をたくさんくっつけたチャリをこいで、ベイブリッジの自転車道に出現。次に現れたのは国道80号, University 出口のでっかい歩道橋の上。道路が一番渋滞する５時から６時までの間だけ”Fukushima Lives!”のバーナーを掲げました。
